Colonial Manor Guest House

A Truly Exceptional Place

In 1965, two local businessmen, William R. Coenen and Massey K. McConnell, responded to the needs of their community and opened the door of Colonial Manor Guest House in a quiet residential area of Rayville. The home quickly earned a solid reputation for quality care and heartfelt compassion, which have remained our guiding principles. Today Colonial Manor is a 134-bed, newly renovated modern nursing facility located conveniently close to Richardson Medical Center, doctors' offices and the offices of other health care professionals, yet is only 15 minutes from the medical centers and conveniences of Monroe. Colonial Manor maintains its warm, small town atmosphere while enjoying the benefits and activites of a larger city, such as the residents' annual riverboat cruise on the Ouchita River and trips to the mall and zoo.

We are especially proud of our Alzheimer's and Related Disorders wing designed according to the recommendations of an award-winning gerontologist. This wing, with its coordinated dining areas, specially designed low stimulus interiors, separate activities area and enclosed courtyard with gazebo, allows the resident with Alzheimer's a safe and unrestrained environment.

At Colonial Manor, longevity and stability of staff teamed with up-to-date professional training and guidance provide the kind of care you demand and the kind of care we can be proud of. Our goal at Colonial Manor has remained the same for over thirty years - to provide you with the very best in Quality Care and Superior Service.
