A Truly Exceptional Place

Autumn Leaves Nursing Home is extremely proud of its fine reputation and of the role it has had in the development of the nursing home industry in Louisiana. Opened April 19, 1962 by F.C. Matthews, Sr., Ted D. Price, Walter E. Price, Jr., and H.K. Beebe, Autumn Leaves was the area's first nursing facility and provided nursing care for up to 32 residents under the supervision of Ted & Marjorie Orice. Autmun Leaves' reputation for quality care and heartfelt compassion (not to mention its excellent home-style cooking) quickly spread and the home grew to its current capacity of 114 residents.

As Autumn Leaves grew, so did the nursing home industry. Collectively this facility's original partners have been directly involved in the building and/or operation of well over a hundred nursing facilities. Directly or indirectly, the list of business people who have grown from these original partners reads like a Who's Who of the modern nursing home industry. We are proud of the history of Autumn Leaves and the fine tradition of caring started by Ted and Marjorie Price nearly 35 years ago. We are committed to continuing this tradition by providing you with the very best in Quality Care and Superior Service in a newly renovated, modern facility.
